Psychotherapy & Supervision
Areas I can support you with include: understanding and managing emotions, depression, anxiety, trauma as a result of sexual and/or domestic abuse, vicarious trauma, personal identity, and relationships.
I have extensive experience supporting survivors of sexual abuse. I am practised in supporting victims of crimes going through the criminal justice system (pre-trial therapy). I am also experienced and trained in supporting LGBT+ people.
As a Psychotherapist I am an active participant in the process of supporting you, facilitating a space for you to explore your concerns at your pace.
My working experience has taught me to actively listen, share my thinking, and offer respect and kindness throughout.
About
Working Experience
I started working as a Psychotherapist in 2010. My clinical experience has been gained via the NHS, third sector, and private practice. Included in this is creating and co-ordinating two specialist services for survivors of sexual abuse in Leeds.
I share all this experience with counsellors & psychotherapists who need supervision for their own therapeutic practice.
Outside of clinical work I am an author, speaker, trainer, and (occasional) activist. I believe that systemic societal change needs to happen to improve mental health, for everyone.
Psychotherapy & Clinical Supervision
Confidential psychotherapy and clinical supervision services in a safe, private space. You can find me in Chapeltown / Chapel Allerton in Leeds (LS7) or securely online via Zoom.

Based on a decade of working experience in supporting adults to manage the trauma of sexual violence, along with activism to effect societal change. Includes a dedicated chapter on pre-trial therapy.
Quotes from survivors enable readers to understand what is needed from psychotherapists & counsellors wherever we might encounter people and communities affected by sexual abuse.
Pre-Trial Therapy
My aim is to demystify the topic of pre-trial therapy. I do this by empowering therapists and survivors to navigate the criminal justice process, whilst increasing access to confidential therapy.
Support I can offer you is based on almost a decade of clinical work, service management, survivor interviews, collaborating with a criminal Barrister, and activism / lobbying work.
